Soft femininity has become such a global trend after the girlboss era, where women adapted themselves to the men’s world by ‘sacrificing’ their feminine energy or to be more non-binary.
Then suddenly, the media did a 180 and started telling women to return to their traditional gender roles, proclaiming that being ‘soft’ is the new ideal. Once the propaganda was set, consumerism followed—especially spiritual consumerism.
Collective programming never tries to teach us yin-yang balance. It always uses black-and-white thinking to steer us toward control and imbalance. When women all become soft, they become codependent on a “hard” man externally because their inner masculine-feminine balance is lost.
Also, ordinary people can barely afford the soft feminine lifestyle. It’s only open to those privileged in wealth or beauty. It’s easy to understand: when a girl has a rich dad, she doesn’t need to build her own inner masculinity. The same is true for a girl with a sugar daddy.
There is nothing wrong with being soft and feminine as long as an equal amount of masculine energy is cultivated internally. So, back to the question: Do you have enough inner masculine energy to be that soft, feminine girl? If not, focus on building financial stability instead of chasing a soft feminine aesthetic.
When we have too much feminine energy flowing and not enough masculine energy to hold space for it, it causes inner chaos. No matter how much dancing or tarot we do, it won’t heal us because feminine energy work doesn’t help create masculine energy.
What really helps are routine, planning, organizing, productivity, etc.—the healthy masculine traits that a woman needs for her inner balance.
